Cancellation Policy

My goal is to provide quality care in a timely manner. No-shows and late cancellations inconvenience those individuals who are in need of therapy in a timely manner.

Please remember that you need to arrive 5 minutes prior to your appointment time as failure to do so may result in your treatment time being reduced due to time spent on paperwork or set-up.

Cancellation of an Appointment

I want to be available for your needs and the needs of all my clients. When a patient does not show up for a scheduled appointment, another patient loses an opportunity to be treated.  Conversely, the situation may arise where another patient fails to cancel and I am unable to schedule you for a visit, due to a seemingly “full” appointment book.

At least 48 hours notice is required should you not be able to make it to your appointment, as this allows me to offer the slot to other patients who may have an immediate need.

If you:

  • need to reschedule or cancel with less than 48 hours’ notice

  • don’t show up on the day

  • arrive so late that I can’t treat you

an automatic payment of 50% of the value to the card provided at the time of booking will be taken.

Free strike policy: I do recognise that ‘life happens’ sometimes, so I have a policy of allowing everybody one chance to do any of the above, with no penalty. This means that I will reschedule you for another appointment provided the remaining outstanding balance has been paid for.

If you want to reschedule or cancel your appointment more than 48 hours before your allocated time, you can do this in the online booking system to Manage Appointments, by calling 07739188652 or emailing me.

No Show Policy

A “no-show” is someone who misses an appointment without cancelling it or notifying me within the proper time frame.

A failure to be present at the time of a scheduled appointment will be recorded as a “no-show”.

I reserve the right to discharge a patient after the third missed appointment whether they have called within 48 hours or not.

Scheduled Appointments

I understand that delays can happen, however, other patients must be kept on time – a session will still end at the scheduled time even if you are late.

If you are 15 minutes or more late on 3 or more occasions, I reserve the right to discharge you completely from my practice.
