As of July 4th 2020, we are in Phase 2 on the roadmap of returning to normal practice as depicted in the image below. What this means practically, is that I can treat you ‘carefully’, while observing social distancing rules and maintaining high levels of hygiene and wearing appropriate PPE. If you wish to book an appointment, please contact me so we can arrange a triage consultation and risk assessment over the phone to decide how to proceed.
We are now in Phase 3 on the roadmap of returning to normal practice as depicted in the image below. What this means practically, is that I can treat you in cases of urgent care and high needs. Please contact me so we can arrange a triage consultation over the phone to decide how to proceed.
Government guidance is as follows (update was 13/03/2020):
Have you been to any of the following Category 1 areas in the last 14 days (even if you do not have symptoms)?
• Have you travelled to any of the following Category 2 (see links above) areas in the last 14 days and have a cough, temperature / fever or shortness of breath (even if it’s mild)?
• Have you been in close contact with someone with confirmed coronavirus?
• Have you been asked to self-isolate?
Then please stay home and call NHS 111.
If answers are ‘NO’ then treatment can be provided.
At the clinic I am following the up-to-date government and BAcC (my governing body) guidelines regarding COVID-19 and I am are also taking my temperature daily. It may be an idea to start taking your own temperature readings daily too.
Patients are asked to come in time to their appointment and not too early to reduce time in general areas (or wait in the car for a while). At this time, we are asking all patients to wash their hands with soap and water upon arrival. Furthermore, I am also washing my hands with soap and water every 30 minutes which is the best way to prevent the spread.
I will also add Moxibustion free of charge to your treatment to boost your immunity.
I hope to have informed you enough. Please do not hesitate to contact me should you have any questions.
