Recovery Beyond the Clinical
A miscarriage is not just a medical event; it is a profound physiological shift. By providing holistic support after miscarriage in London, our goal is to help your body 'close the loop' and safely enter a state of deep repair and recalibration.
Acupuncture for Calm
Loss triggers a 'fight or flight' response. Acupuncture helps down-regulate the nervous system and manage cortisol spikes.

Using Low-Level Laser Therapy to reduce internal inflammation and boost mitochondrial energy for tissue healing.
Learn about LLLT →Womb & Pelvic Massage
Gentle Arvigo® techniques to guide pelvic organs back into alignment and clear physical congestion post-loss.
Learn about Womb Massage →Understanding the "Reset" Cycle
Recovery is metabolic. We help ensure your physical recovery is thorough, flushing the pelvic area with nutrient-rich blood and supporting your energy levels.
Clearing Inflammation
Lingering inflammation can disrupt the body's natural healing rhythm and impact future fertility. Our London clinics use Acupuncture and LLLT to calm the system, boost cellular repair, and create an optimal, healthy environment for your body to fully reset as you prepare for your next chapter.
Hormonal Harmony
By observing your cycle’s return and regulating your cycle after loss, we use bespoke herbal prescriptions to support your energy (Qi) and strengthen your blood - optimising future fertility and gently preparing for your next chapter when you feel ready.
Frequently Asked Questions
How soon can I book a session?
Acupuncture and Low-Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) can start immediately, even while you are still bleeding. These treatments are non-invasive and help manage the initial hormonal crash and physical discomfort. For Womb Massage, we recommend waiting until active bleeding has stopped.
I had a D&C. Can I still have treatment?
Yes. Acupuncture and LLLT can be used as soon as 1 week post-procedure to support internal tissue healing and reduce inflammation. However, for deep abdominal Womb Massage, you should wait 4-6 weeks to allow the surgical site to fully settle.
Can these therapies help with the emotional impact?
While our focus is physical restoration, the two are deeply linked. Acupuncture works on the nervous system to shift you from a state of shock ('fight or flight') to 'rest and digest.' This physiological shift can help manage the anxiety, insomnia, and exhaustion that often follow a loss.
When will my cycle return to normal?
Every body is different, but typically it takes 4 to 8 weeks for a cycle to return. We use acupuncture and bespoke Chinese herbs to support this transition, ensuring that when your cycle does return, the uterine lining is healthy and hormones are balanced.
What should I wear to my appointment?
Loose, comfortable clothing is best. For acupuncture, we often need to access points on your lower legs and arms. For Womb Massage, we will work directly on the abdominal area, so something easy to move is ideal.
Which London clinic should I visit?
We offer recovery support across all three locations: Wandsworth (Southfields), Marylebone (Wimpole St), and Notting Hill. You can choose the one most convenient for you when booking online.
